Frequency first day SIX
One Small Yes
Trust isn’t a destination you arrive at after enough evidence. It’s built in micro-moments – the small, unglamorous choices where you follow your signal even though it’s inconvenient, even though someone might not understand. Even if you don’t fully understand at the time. Every time you honour what you heard, you teach your nervous system that your knowing is safe to receive. That’s the whole practice, over and over, in small things first.
Exercise – One Small Yes
Today’s exercise is less about writing and more about doing.
Step 1: Sit quietly for a few minutes. Ask your body: what is a small yes I’ve been ignoring? Not a life-changing decision – something today. A phone call you keep putting off. A rest you keep postponing. A conversation you’ve been avoiding. Something you’ve wanted to do that keeps getting pushed aside.
Step 2: Do it. Today. Before you go to sleep tonight.
Step 3: Come back and write about it. What happened? What did it feel like to follow through? What did your body do?
That feeling – whatever it was – is information. Write it down. That is what honouring your signal feels like. Remember it.
This isn’t the big leap yet. It’s proof – to your own body – that it’s safe to listen to you. That’s how trust gets built. One small yes, then the next one gets easier.
